He was also a designer and creative director in the Chanel fashion house from 1983 until his death. The immensely learned and educated Lagerfeld excelled as a photographer and interior designer and was greatly interested in architecture.

Lagerfeld conquered the fashion world with his breathtaking designs, and it’s no wonder that he was admired by the most famous top models. He was the darling of Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Linda Evangelista. He was also popular with music celebrities. For instance, he designed costumes for worldwide concert tours for pop superstars Kylie Minogue and Madonna.
